OYO 9546 Mall Road

We had a great family stay. The hotel shanthi residency staff welcomed us warmly, and everyone was smiling and grateful. The rooms have big fixed glass windows that let in lots of light, and the view of the Himalayas from the seating area by the lane was so relaxing. There was a play area too, and my three-year-old daughter had a good time there. Hot water was available all day, and there's a lift and restaurant with fast service. Parking could fit tempo-sized vehicles. Van vihar and Mall Road are within walking distance, behind the Manali police station. Thanks to the staff, and all the best.

The rooms have an awesome view, and the staff are supportive. Before asking them to arrange a local vehicle or sightseeing, do your own research in advance. The food was satisfactory. For a budget stay, it's a good mix of facilities in one place.

The location is okay, at the start of Mall Road. Housekeeping and cleaning were poor. There were insects in the room, and nothing was done after we reported them. The D2H TV didn't work, and the washroom smelled with seepage from the ceiling. You can't get bed tea before 8 am, though room service was otherwise okay. Food was just okay, with few complimentary breakfast choices. Book only if your expectations are low.

Van vihar, the nature park, is right in front of the hotel, and Mall Road market is about a five-minute walk away. It's also a five-minute walk from the private bus parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and restaurant aren't high standard, but for INR 750 a night, it was the best option in this price range.
