The manager arranged a sightseeing van with a very decent, professional driver, and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean, there was hot water, parking was convenient, and the views were beautiful. The stay was excellent value for money, easily 5/5. Food was decent, 3.5/5. Getting there is difficult, though. The road is in poor shape and mostly one-way, and the cable-stayed bridge over the river isn’t well maintained. The sharp turns make the drive challenging, especially with family. There was also a massage provider on the premises who charged ₹200 per person for 18-20 minutes, then handed the work to his brother. He barely gave us 7 minutes and left. When we asked about the promised time, the response was careless and unprofessional. That’s unacceptable. Management should check and properly train or regulate third-party providers before letting them work at the property. The stay, staff, and location were great, but this needs attention to maintain trust.
