Vista Resort -Centrally heated & air cooled

The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and the property was well maintained. Rooms were clean and comfortable, parking was good and easy to access, and Mall Road is about a 10-minute walk away. I didn't try the food, but it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

The rooms are good for the price, and the staff were good too. There’s plenty of parking. I also got a video of the view from the room.

The AC wasn’t working, and the room wasn’t cleaned. They didn’t even provide drinking water, though you could fill a bottle from the RO unit in the central hall. Before we booked, they offered food and other things, but after we paid, they told us to order from Swiggy. I booked because I saw good reviews on Booking.com, but I found the experience very bad and those reviews seemed completely fake.

The room was a decent size, with AC and centrally supplied hot water in the bathroom, but the place didn’t feel worth more than 2,000 rupees a night. Its location is far below the road, and I’d call it an average two-star hotel. The rooms were poorly cleaned: the bins had rubbish, cigarette ends from previous guests were left behind, and the sheets and pillow covers were dirty and weren’t changed during cleaning. Wi-Fi was down for two days straight. There were no tea or coffee sachets, kettle, or slippers, and the items they brought after I asked were broken and dirty. Staff listened to complaints but didn’t act promptly. The gym and play area shown online also cost extra.
