The children had a great time in the clean, well-kept pool, and our stay in the good rooms was comfortable. Staff were polite and humble, and the food was good. Breakfast was the weak point: the choices were limited, and having to keep asking for each item got tedious. It would work better served at a buffet counter.

The service and the way we were treated were the best parts of our weekend here. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, and the beach was less than a minute away on foot. We had a perfect stay.

We stayed three nights with our family, and felt the atmosphere was unhealthy for us. We come from a moderate culture, and after sunset until midnight there was disorder and a lack of discipline. One drunk guest threatened my 9-year-old daughter while she was playing with my sister’s 8-year-old daughter. I didn’t see any security staff, and we felt especially unsafe in the evening. There seemed to be no rules for people drinking, while every rule applied to civilised guests. Food was also very expensive for the portions and quality. A small, thin tawa roti cost Rs.18; with our group of seven adults and two others, we ate 25 rotis costing around Rs.500 and still didn’t feel full. There’s only one shop outside the resort toward the beach, and a beach shack that also seemed unsuitable for families. This might suit bachelors, couples, or groups of friends, but I wouldn’t recommend it at all for family groups. In one line, it felt like a safe haven for alcoholics willing to spend plenty of money.

We were a group of 12 on an office trip, and the service was awful. They didn’t provide half the things on the menu, and nothing seemed to be allowed, yet there was hardly any service. The food wasn’t good, there was no massage service, and the cleaning staff didn’t know how to sweep properly. The staff were mannerless. I’m never coming back or recommending this place.
