Ajay made our visit memorable. He arranged dinner for us in the garden one evening, and the hotel also organized a tour of a Haveli in Mandawa. When we checked out, we were sent off with fresh watermelon juice, a welcome start to the hot, long day ahead. The property has only 11 rooms, but it’s nicely done, with a rustic feel and warm hospitality.

The rooms are fabulous, and the well-kept property has a feel that takes you back in time. We had a great stay and a lovely experience. Do try the biryani and Laal Maas, it’s a must. Shekhar deserves a special mention for the wonderful hospitality and for helping with our food cravings. ☺️🍛

The haveli is beautiful, and we were greeted warmly. The people there were helpful and cooperative, so our stay was good. I did have concerns about cleanliness and general upkeep, though. Better cleaning, maintenance, fresh paint on the walls, and more attention to the pool would make the property much more appealing. Legacy is a big, reputed chain, so the resort left me with a weaker impression than I expected. I sincerely hope management gives maintenance more attention to improve the guest experience.

Behind the door is a tranquil little oasis. We arrived as the Holi festival was starting and joined the parade through town. The rooms are fabulous, and the service and willingness to help with anything are what make this place special. Shekhar was attentive in the restaurant, and the team arranged a cake for someone in our party and went above and beyond to make the visit memorable. We were only here one night, which felt too short. If you stay, make it longer.

After visiting the havellis and wandering around town, we came back for dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Legacy Mandawa was a lovely, relaxing pause on our travels in Rajasthan. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the grounds pleasant, and Shekher and the rest of the team gave excellent service. They took care of every need.
