Echor La Blanca Resort Mandrem

Mr Durgesh was especially welcoming, and his service was very good. la Blanca hotel is also in a perfect spot, within walking distance of all the main attractions. We had a wonderful stay.

The room layout carries the evening music into every room, and it’s awful. I won’t even get into that. This doesn’t feel like a vacation; it feels like torture. They also start playing loud music at 9 a.m. Staff said management wants to wake guests up for breakfast. I didn’t book a summer camp where someone else decides when I get up. It feels like everything is arranged to stop guests from coming back. Stay away.

The rooms were clean and hygienic, and Duresh bhai was kind and really helpful. Breakfast, the atmosphere, and the stay were all wonderful. It was a sweet, comfortable experience.

We had booked three rooms for ten nights, but left after just two. They were filthy and covered in mould, and it didn’t seem like anyone had even tried. The air conditioners didn’t work and leaked lots of water onto the floor and beds. Staff showed no concern. A friend stayed down the road for a quarter of what we paid and had a much better experience. I can’t recommend this place, and would give it zero stars if I could.
