Villa Ekanta

We stayed at Villa Ekanta in Alibaug through Lohono Stays and had a very disappointing experience. The bathroom window was already damaged when we arrived, and glass fell each time the door was closed. We told the staff when it shattered, and they agreed while cleaning it up. My 65-year-old mother couldn't have broken that heavy-duty glass, and we were lucky she wasn't hurt because of the poor maintenance. At check-in, we paid a supposedly refundable Rs.20,000 deposit. At checkout, we asked for it to be put toward the food bill, but the team said it wasn't blocked and would be refunded. After we had left, they charged us separately and said they were keeping the deposit because we'd allegedly broken the window. We received no email, phone call, or WhatsApp communication about this. When we tried to ask about the blocked amount, the team and company didn't respond to our messages or calls. We felt cheated and that the team intended to rob customers. Avoid booking through Lohono stays, especially with Anuj singh, Aniket ghosh and Baldeep Bhatia. Terrible management and an unethical company.
