We booked two AC double rooms for just one night, arriving late and leaving early to catch a connecting train. Mr.Muneer had confirmed there would be king-size beds, but the rooms were shabby and had only queen-size beds. Since we’d paid in advance and it was nighttime, we felt we had no choice but to stay. The hotel is 1 km from the central railway station. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Cosmo Lodge was clean and well maintained, and the prices were very affordable. They also provide hot drinking water, laundry, and free Wi-Fi, which is handy for a short or longer stay. Good value if you’re after a comfortable, reasonably priced place in Mangalore.

I called to ask about getting a room for 26/2 at 6 am, and the man kept speaking in Hindi without saying a word in Kannada. Then he kept insisting I come on the 27th, saying he’d give me a room for the 26th. Was he out of his mind? He was arrogant and had an attitude. What kind of people does Cosmo employ to ruin its image? I had a terrible experience without even visiting.

I paid Rs 588 for a single room, while other places nearby were asking Rs 1700-3000. The staff handled things really nicely, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a good room near the Railway Station. The Highway Bus stand is about 60 meters away on foot, Nexus Mall is roughly 350 meters away, and the Railway Station is 1 km away.
