Falnir Palace is a budget-friendly option, and the central location makes it easy to explore Mangaluru. It's handy for transport links and local attractions, and check-in was smooth. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and some guests found service quick. Rooms are basic and functional, with essential amenities, but opinions on room size and cleanliness vary. Some guests mentioned small rooms, dated facilities, cleanliness concerns, and limited parking. Breakfast and housekeeping could be better. It may suit a short stay if you're looking for basic comfort at a budget price, though longer stays might not impress.

The housekeeping was poor and disappointing, and basic cleanliness wasn't up to standard. The bedsheets were unclean and had a strong unpleasant smell. In the bathroom, the door had visible stains, mold, and water damage. I wouldn't recommend it for families or couples.

The location is excellent, with everything close by and autos readily available. Mangaluru autos run on meters 100%, so there's no need to call for a car unnecessarily. I stayed in a large room by myself. The reception staff don't smile, even if you meet them for the 100th time, but they do what needs to be done. There are no restaurants, so you'll have to bring food through Zomato Swiggy. Breakfast is complimentary, a basic spread of 3-4 items, but at least it gets you ready for the day. Rates are cheap and clearly shown on the card, no hanky panky. All in all, the hotel has great hardware and basic software. Warmth is missing from an otherwise good place.

At 0600hrs, after we arrived, they denied us admission because no rooms were available, despite our confirmed booking. If there were no rooms, the booking should have been cancelled beforehand. This isn't about the refund, it's about having to find another hotel at that hour. The reception guy just said we could do whatever we wanted and call customer care. A very rude response and the worst possible approach to a customer. Strictly not recommended.

Everything about the room was pakka, they didn't leave any mistake to mention. The service was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was good too. Bathroom and AC were nice, and the TV had all languages. Totally really good.
