Amã Stays & Trails 70 Vale, Goa

The outdoor shower was a highlight for me, and I loved how the open spaces felt calm and connected to the house. 70, Vale in Assagaon is also close to many of Goa's cafes and restaurants. The villa is beautifully appointed, and the well-trained staff made delicious meals for our group, including several local dishes. I'd happily recommend it.

The food was yummy, with traditional Goan dishes alongside contemporary cuisine. We stayed in the master bedroom, and I loved its light and open bathroom. During our retreat at 70, Vale Road space, we spotted plum headed parakeets, bulbuls, green beeaters, magpie Robins and koels. It's a tasteful home, with lovely corners and artifacts, plus a little stream and a bridge over it. It was an amazing experience.

We were eight, including a toddler, and the staff were helpful and accommodating with our many requests. The bungalow was extremely well maintained, with plenty of shared and private space, and the service was excellent. We stayed with the whole family in early September 2022. Assagao is a handy location, with lots of great restaurants 5-10 minutes away. We'd definitely come back.

The staff made it feel like home away from home, cooking the meals we wanted. I'm still missing that food. On our last night, the barbecue by the pool was the icing on the cake. It was one of the best private home stay experiences I've had in a long time, and the property in Assagao was beautifully maintained.
