Hotel Tip Top Residency

I only needed a place to shower and rest for a couple of hours during the day while visiting Mumbai with my family for US Visa biometrics. An auto driver directed us here, and we had a good experience.

For the price, I didn’t find it worthwhile and wouldn’t return. The bedsheet was dirty, with hair on it; even after asking twice for a change, I was given another dirty one. The toilet seat was broken, and they didn’t provide a water bottle, so I had to pay extra for one.

My relatives arrived after a long flight and were turned away in the middle of the night, even though they had paid in advance to secure the reservation. They were not refunded and had to find somewhere else to stay at that hour in a foreign country. They’ve had wonderful stays around the world, but this was a nightmare. This is customer service at its worst, and I would NOT recommend the hotel.

At ₹2000 for a day in a non AC room, I didn’t think this was worth the price, even with an online app discount. The rooms themselves were well maintained, and the place is easy to reach from LTT station. But the 11am checkout wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and they provided neither drinking water nor towels or bedsheets, even when I asked. Auto and cab drivers may bring you here if you ask them for a good stay.
