Hotel Atmaram

The room was in great condition, and the staff were friendly with visitors. The hotel is a little tucked away, but that worked well for me since my exam centre was only 500m away. It’s a good budget hotel, and you can choose this place to stay.

You can find cheaper places in Mapusa, though it’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stand. I’ve stayed in much better rooms in other cities for less. Seems okay if you just need somewhere to freshen up for a day, but I wouldn’t stay here with friends or family.

We only needed a room for a few hours because our bus was delayed, and this place did the job for our tight budget at the end of our Goa trip. The room was decent and cool, though nothing special. There’s no food served here, but Babaji is nearby for meals. Wi-Fi was available, but there was no TV. For 500 rupees, I wasn’t expecting much hospitality. Thanks, but the service could be better.

Parking for bikes and the security were the best parts. The rooms are small but neat, and the rent was affordable. We first booked at 700-850 during peak days, then extended through Goibibo for 627 a day. It’s 800 metres from the bus stand, and check-out is at 9 AM.
