The Postcard Moira

The Postcard group has some thoughtful policies that made a difference, including no fixed check-in or check-out times and no set breakfast hours. The experiences also draw generously from local ways of living. Our stay was short, but it’s already one of our most memorable vacations, and I can’t wait to visit another Postcard hotel. The Postcard, Moira is a hidden gem in Goa, a beautifully restored green property with old-world charm and modern facilities. The rooms are luxurious, the food delicious, and the hospitality was unmatched. Mr. Kartik, the Resort Manager, and his superb team went out of their way to delight us and accommodate all our requests, and then some.

The food was the real highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and they adjusted dishes to our individual spice tolerance. The property encourages guests to order from the menu, and special thanks to chef Mr. Creighton Vaz. We spent about three nights at this beautiful old Portuguese property. Mr. Karthik, Mr. Abhijeet, and Mr. Ankur made sure we had the best experience, going above and beyond. The rooms were clean, the space felt homely, and the staff’s warmth and hospitality were unparalleled. Highly recommend it if you want to be thoroughly pampered.

Our late arrival was no trouble at all. My husband got in well into the night, but everyone was awake waiting for us. They even messaged on WhatsApp to ask if we wanted something to eat, and it was all ready when we arrived around 1:30 AM. After that warm welcome, everything was perfect: the staff, food, and whole property. The manager was very hands-on, the staff were well trained, and I can’t wait to go back. We spent six days in Goa across the Postcard properties. Moira was my favorite, with Netravali close behind. We’d booked a package that included massages, but because of COVID the spa wasn’t operating at any property except Netravali. They arranged an overnight stay there so we could enjoy the spa. That level of hospitality and customer care was unlike anything we’d encountered before, and we travel a lot. Don’t miss this property if you want to be pampered. We’ll make sure to visit again next year when we’re in Mumbai.
