Glorify Stay2 by OYO Rooms

At least there’s good parking. The rooms were smelly and bad, though, and the bathrooms are beyond description. Not worth the price.

The room was quite good, but the hotel is on Mathura’s outskirts, so having your own transport would help. There are dhabas nearby that may have better value food, since the hotel gets menu items from another nearby branch and the food isn’t great. The hotel is about 4 kms from the railway station. An autorickshaw there should cost Rs.60 at most, so don’t be fooled by drivers at the station asking around 150 or more if they think you’re new. Autorickshaws can be infrequent during the day, and I think they stop running after 6 in the evening.

It’s away from the city rush, which could suit someone looking for a quiet place. But the hotel is far from mathura station, and I’d avoid bringing family unless you have your own vehicle. They provide amenities like wifi, towels, and AC, though the rooms aren’t cleaned well or maintained properly.

I booked for three guests, but they gave us no extra mattress or bed. The response from staff was very poor, too. The linen wasn’t clean, the room smelled foul, and the water gave electric shocks. One of my most horrible stays so far.
