They switch off the AC at midnight even though you've paid to have it through the night. If you can find somewhere else, stay there. Very bad experience at Anand Guest House.

They were nice, but the service was bad that day. Since I was alone, I was told to adjust a bit. I didn't think that was wrong, but they should change the way they welcome people if they want more customers.

I booked through booking.com and took pictures. Please don't waste your money here. Goroomgo Shree Anand Guest House in Mathura showed clean, attractive photos on Booking.com and asked for an advance payment, but the place we found on arrival was completely different. It smelled foul, like rotten rodents; the rooms were extremely poor, and the bathrooms were filthy. At reception, they may suggest moving you to another hotel and refunding the advance you paid online. Then they stop answering calls and cancel the booking themselves, so you can't reach them.

When you tell them there's a problem, they don't listen or accept fault. They just misbehave and say things like, “kya ho gya 20 min aap problem suffer kar rahe to.. itni badi baat thodi ho gyi.” So I'm paying to suffer through a problem? The hotel is totally unprofessional. Worst hotel I've ever seen. I don't recommend it at all. Save your money and precious time.
