There was so much noise at night that I couldn't sleep, and the food was awful. Room service took ages, and the staff were rude and no help at all when I complained. The room itself was dirty, with stained sheets and a bad smell as soon as we walked in. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, there was no hot water, and basic amenities were missing or broken. For what they charge, this was a complete waste of money. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, and I'd strongly advise everyone to avoid it and book elsewhere.

The bedsheets and pillow covers were impressively clean, which I don't usually find at hotels, and the service was good. Our family room had an awesome view. The budget rooms seemed to be in better condition if you overlook a few things. Parking isn't really available on site, so you have to leave your vehicle across the road, where there's plenty of space.

For the price, it's an okay place, but the hygiene needs work, especially a deep clean in the washrooms. They do have scooties for rent. Service wasn't good either, since we asked several times and still never got a water bottle.

Hotel Mayur Mathura was a convenient base for exploring the area, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Service was about what I expected, though it could still improve. A decent holiday option.

We planned on one night but ended up extending to two. The hotel staff behaved well, and their room management and personal attention were helpful. They also suggested ways to explore Mathura and Vrindaban without running into scams. The rooms are standard, and it was a good hotel.
