Hotel Queen Palace By OYO Rooms

The hotel has changed. I always prefer staying here because the staff do everything they can to make you comfortable. Privacy, cleanliness, behavior, food, staff, rooms, and washrooms have all improved. I'd give the hotel 10 out of 10.

We waited 20-30 minutes because the receptionist's app wasn't showing a booking under our name. When we finally checked in, he demanded payment in advance even though we had chosen the option to pay at the hotel. I've stayed at many Oyo hotels and paid at checkout. We had booked for three people, and he made a rude remark that this wasn't a kirana store where we could pay after taking things. We had to ask him five or six times each for extra bedding, a pillow, sheets, and a towel. Very bad behavior and service from the receptionist and Oyo staff.

I booked through Oyo and paid them in advance through Paytm, but the reception refused to honor the online booking, saying they had an issue with Oyo. The receptionist told me to cancel it and pay him cash instead. I called Oyo customer care and explained what was happening, with the receptionist on the same call. He gave customer care a false excuse that they could only give a room to two people, even though it was just me and my wife. The staff were drunk and ready to fight, which caused us a lot of trouble. I had booked at Rp-700 with a 150 cashback offer through Paytm, so it would have cost me around Rp-550. They were asking me for 1000 in cash. Why should I pay cash? If they won't accept online bookings, they should remove Oyo. I also asked the Oyo representative to send a team there immediately and check whether the staff were drunk. Don't go to this hotel, especially through Oyo online booking.

The room wasn't clean or furnished properly, and I was completely disappointed with the location and facilities. After 7 pm, it turns into a bar. Never visit with family.
