Hotel Yamuna Vilas by OYO Rooms

Very poor service, and the area behind the hotel was full of garbage.

I paid 2200 for two days, though the rate can vary with the season or festivals. The manager was helpful, and the location is very accessible. I came around Christmas for a couple of days. Early check-in depends on room availability and when the previous guest checks out, so plan accordingly if you need to arrive early.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Mathura bus stand, and maintenance was good. The sheets were clean, the geyser worked, and the room size was okay for two people. But they said all the towels were wet and they had no extra stock, so we had to use our own after bathing. I stayed for a day. It's a reasonable option for friends or bachelors. Families could use it if they can't find another option.

The central city location didn't make up for how uncomfortable the stay was. The room was tiny, in poor condition, and unclean, with no table or chair for eating. The bedsheet, pillow, and blanket were dirty and torn, and the air conditioner didn't work properly. A kettle, hair dryer, and fridge were listed for the room, but none were there. We also weren't given a towel or toiletries.
