OYO 7885 Hotel Myraa

The rooms didn't look like the edited photos they'd posted on Google, so it felt like a scam. We stayed there last week, and the service was very bad. All the hotels smelled of cigarette smoke.

The room was tiny, leaving hardly any space once the bed and luggage were inside, and its walls were in a terrible state. The shower didn't work, and they don't have coffee. Breakfast and dinner both arrived more than 75 minutes after we ordered. The receptionist was also highly unprofessional and lacked basic manners when speaking.

My family felt unsafe there. The staff were rude and kept staring at my sister and wife. They were also openly insulting Hinduism and our gods and goddesses. I won't come back, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my enemies. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

We stayed for three days while in town for my cousin's wedding, and the staff were good people who helped with our daily needs. The room was small but cozy, and the property was decent and well furnished. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it's a nice location about 2 km from the Junction, close to both the railway station and bus stand. I got a room for 400 bucks through Oyo, which felt worth it for a day's stay. The hotel is listed with Oyo, but I don't know whether our booking was made through them or directly. We didn't get the breakfast that's complimentary with Oyo. There are better hotels than Myraa in Mathura, but if you just need somewhere to sleep at night and spend the day roaming around, this one works.
