They apologized and offered food and desserts afterward. After they insisted quite a bit, I accepted one dessert. Their behavior was good, but finding a piece of nail in my channa masala was far too much. I noticed it in my mouth, and someone in my place could have become sick. This was my first really bad food experience like that.

The food was very good, and it’s a nice place to stay for a day or two. The one drawback is that there isn’t a proper place to park a vehicle.

We placed our order at 9:05 pm, and by 10:06 we still hadn’t received anything. We waited an hour and didn’t get our stutter at all. The service is very bad.

They expect guests to get by on barely half a litre of water for the whole day, while pharma companies seem to keep the hotel heavily occupied. That gives the place a flamboyant air it hasn’t earned. The service is poor, the rooms are small, and the rates feel unnecessarily high. Breakfast is only okay. Orbit Hotel, Medinipur may be considered one of the best in Medinipur, but my stay didn’t live up to that reputation or its prices.

It felt more like an old-fashioned lodge. The room had just one TL, the TV was small with few options, and the washroom was small and not that good.
