Jyoti Palace by OYO Rooms

They said they couldn't give me the room I'd booked at such a cheap price and complained that they didn't know how Oyo offered rooms at those rates. They wanted extra money if I wanted to stay. The service was pretty bad, and at checkout they asked for my phone to get a code in the Oyo app. In my case they gave themselves a five-star rating without asking, and I couldn't change it. All in all, a pretty bad experience.

The staff were pleasant, but my overall stay wasn't good. The owner was rude, they charged me extra, and the rooms weren't properly clean. What was shown on Oyo was very different from the reality, and there were no facilities.

The staff were rude and didn't know how to speak to customers. You have to check out by 11 a.m. no matter what. The rates are high compared with other hotels, even though the facilities are poor. The cooler wasn't working, so the room was very hot at night.

I didn't book the room because the owner was asking for more money. He was rude and drunk at the time, and didn't know how to treat guests or speak to them properly. I was utterly disappointed and didn't expect this kind of service from Oyo either. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'd give it zero stars.
