They offered a low price online, but when we arrived to check in, they demanded three or four times more and even pushed us to share a room with a stranger. I found the place unsafe and unhygienic, and booking here felt like a mistake. I wouldn't trust the five-star ratings either, since I believe they're from the owner's family and friends, though some people may also visit secretly with their girlfriends. It feels like a place the police might raid one day.

There wasn't any handwash or mosquito repellent, and the shared bathroom with another room had a flush that didn't work. The room's only window opened by the cash counter, so anyone coming into the hotel could see inside if we left it open. But shutting it meant poor airflow and a stuffy room, so there wasn't proper ventilation.

It's an average place in a nice neighborhood. Things at the hotel seem to work through makeshift fixes, but it could do for a budget stay if you're not too fussy.
