The staff were courteous and pleasant, and the room's general cleanliness was acceptable. The bedding and towels were another matter: the sheets, linen, pillow covers, and towels had stains in all sorts of colors. I asked for a replacement towel and the one I got was heavily stained too. The bed linen didn't seem freshly changed and smelled sweaty. The toilet was cramped, poorly lit, and had an unpleasant odor. I booked the Standard AC room. For under ₹1,000, a short stay might be manageable if you happen to get clean sheets and towels. Otherwise it can feel uncomfortable and unhygienic.

We arrived in Kerala for the first time and found this hotel late at night at a decent price. Hot water was available from 7am. There's a restaurant downstairs, and breakfast there was excellent: authentic Kerala idiyappam, parata, egg curry, gheerost dosa, and boiled eggs. Everything tasted good, felt healthy, and was easy on the wallet.

For the price, they could do a bit more. The mattress wasn't great, though it was manageable, and some sheets had stains that put me off even though they seemed clean. It's a decent hotel, but the place needs better upkeep and some new sheets.

The room and service were terrible, and it wasn't worth a single penny. The towels and bedsheets had mud on them, and the walls and surroundings were very unclean. The lobby seems to be there just to attract people. One of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

There's a restaurant downstairs and ample parking for at least 10 cars. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the railway station. Rooms are decent for the pretty good rates, and the staff are helpful and courteous. They're also flexible about checkout if you let them know in advance.
