Blue Door Hotel Morjim

We stayed here last year and had a nice experience. The rooms were clean and service was good. If you're after a budget option around 3k with spacious rooms and good service, it's worth considering.

The caretaker was gentle and always greeted us with a smile, ready to help. We also appreciated the small touches, like glass bottles instead of plastic, and the rooms were sparkling clean. Getting around was easy with a taxi stand right there, and it was easy on the pocket. The walk to the turtle beach is lovely, following the river, and there aren't many people calling out to get you into their places along the way. We had a really good stay.

Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were neat and very clean. The staff were friendly, caring, and pleasant, with excellent service throughout. The hotel is well maintained and has a great ambience. It works well for families, and I'd recommend it to couples and foreigners too.

We booked three nights after reading the positive reviews, but our experience made us wonder if some of them were paid. There was a power cut every day from check-in, and no backup. Breakfast was just one snack and one drink, something they hadn't mentioned when we booked, and it took ages to arrive. There were people drinking right beside the hotel at all hours, so I wouldn't recommend it for families. The location is okay, though there are plenty of other options nearby. They seemed badly understaffed, with the same person handling bookings, breakfast, and everything else. It felt like everyone was running around without knowing what they were doing.
