Exploring the area on foot let me discover the surrounding nature in a new way each time. Even without direct access to the sea, I still felt close to the water and enjoyed its magic. The sea wasn’t right beside Sur La Mer, but you could feel its influence in the atmosphere. My room was beautifully decorated and peaceful, with magnificent views of the surrounding nature through the windows. The hotel felt both luxurious and cozy, and every moment there gave me the illusion that the sea was nearby. I could leave the daily rush behind and relax amid lovely interiors and comfortable surroundings. The restaurant Sur La Mer exceeded my expectations. Its refined dishes, made with fresh local ingredients, surprised me with their flavor and creative approach. Each plate felt like a work of art, and I enjoyed those distinctive food experiences. The staff throughout Sur La Mer were attentive and hospitable, making every effort to make the stay comfortable and memorable. Their professionalism and care with details created a perfect setting for relaxation. I’d confidently recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty, whatever the time of year.

We really enjoyed our time at Sur La Mer in Goa. The hosts were so welcoming, and great service, delicious food, and engaging conversations made the stay feel special. It’s a little expensive, but the quality and atmosphere made it worth the cost. Highly recommend it for a luxurious, memorable getaway.

The food was nice, and the staff were friendly. The rest of the stay was a letdown. The hotel feels run-down and neglected, and I wouldn't choose it for a family holiday. Each evening, the owner set up a bar and played loud music with his friends, which was a nuisance for guests who were paying to stay there. Both nights, fireworks were set off right outside our room without warning or explanation. There was no festival or occasion, and we were trying to get a baby to sleep. The owner lives on the property, was quite rude, and wasn't someone I wanted to deal with. This place may have had better days, but there are much better options in Goa. I'd avoid it.

Sur LA Mer is a cozy, private spot with a fabulous restaurant menu. Some of the dishes include fine Pate Foie Gras, Vagu beef, and escargot. Worth checking out, it feels like a little hidden gem ✨
