Naga Cottages

The hotel may look fine outside, but inside it was a disaster. My friends had flown all the way from Russia for a one-week trip to India, and the place ruined the experience. There were bedbugs, no hot water, and management showed no sense of responsibility. What was meant to be a dream trip turned into a nightmare. If hygiene, comfort, or basic human decency matter to you, avoid this hotel at all costs. 👎

One of my worst experiences in these cottages. After room service, my 3lakh rs gold chain disappeared on its own sometime in the last 6-7 months.

The pool is beautiful and well kept, with lots of greenery, and the beach is only a 100 m walk away. The rooms and bathrooms are huge, with a kitchen and a nice swing. Mine looked out toward the pool, with trees at the back. Staff were SUPER helpful with requests, and the food was quite good. When I had to shorten my stay, the owner kindly waived the cancellation fee. This feels like a perfect budget spot for a solo woman traveler. My room had a strange musty smell from the back side, so I got an air freshener. A big group spent most of the day in and around the pool, being so loud I couldn’t sleep at all. Staff could perhaps have asked them to keep in mind that other guests might not want screams all day. They sometimes play music on giant speakers when someone books an event, which is only a problem if you’re after a quiet vacation. I’d have liked some complimentary breakfast choices besides Parathas and Toast+omelette. Would highly recommend the place!

We went in October, right at the start of the season. The restaurant was being renovated, but they still sorted out a decent breakfast. The pool was decent, and the staff were cooperative. Deluxe rooms are excellent, and it’s total value for money. Worth every penny, highly recommended.
