The worst part was when a piece of the ceiling came down onto the bed. It only just missed causing an accident. The room also had no TV, the internet didn’t work, and the taps and shower were rusty, with the shower mostly blocked. AC remotes had to be shared between rooms. The flush didn’t work until they fixed it a day later. Breakfast arrived so late that we’d wait two hours, so after paying for it we skipped it from the next day on. Sheets were changed only every two or three days, and they reused the same sheet by turning it over. We’d booked several rooms and they were all in the same state. It was a nightmare, please avoid staying here.

The worst moment was a false ceiling panel falling onto the bed while one of us was sitting beside it. That came on top of a long list of problems during our two-room stay. The flush hadn’t worked since the first day and was finally repaired at 10 at night, while my toddler was asleep in the room. Breakfast on day one came at 11am, and we skipped it on day two. The AC remotes didn’t work and were only provided the day after check-in. There was no TV, and nothing was being done about the mosquitoes. Service was awful, the property wasn’t maintained, and there seemed to be no one with authority to make decisions. The manager had to call the owner whenever something came up. A very, very bad experience.

They changed our hotel just one day before we arrived, leaving us no choice to look for somewhere else in peak season. The service was terrible. I hope they improve staffing, quality, and the food options.

There are nice cafes and shops within walking distance, and the beach is spacious. The rooms were clean and in good shape, and the staff were friendly. I’d happily come back!
