We live in the neighboring village of Siolim and spent one night at Pappa Jolly. The resort still has the same charm, aesthetic design, and ambience I remembered from visiting years ago. The staff were really helpful, the service was excellent, and the big pool seems to be an improvement. Breakfast was very good too. We had a happy stay. Thanks, Mr. Raj and team.

We enjoyed the fresh water pool here, and the restaurant staff were especially friendly and nice to talk to. Ashvim beach is only a two minute walk away. It's a quiet place where you can sit on the balcony, by the pool, or in the open restaurant and listen to birds. Food is made fresh, which suited us after eating precooked or frozen meals at other resorts on previous trips. The menu is limited, though. We stayed three nights with family after a few days at a nearby resort. Our experience depended a lot on the room: we chose a large one with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and a great view. The other available rooms didn't look up to the mark. If you're happy with something minimal, this place may work well. There are some service and maintenance issues. The shower in the G5 bathroom had a water problem, which the woman at reception noted politely. We also had to go to reception to get hand wash, and sometimes no one answered our calls. If we'd been assigned one of the other rooms, our stay could have been quite different. We've stayed at other beach resorts with manicured gardens and plenty of hospitality talk, but they didn't have the same feel. At many of them, the bathroom taps and even the pool seemed to have salty water. If you're after flashy rooms, internet-connected plasma TVs, and top class room service, this may not suit you. For a quiet place to disconnect, it could.

The resort felt like a peaceful little oasis, with palm trees, bamboo, lush greenery, and tall banana plants. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night, the welcome was warm. We stayed with family, and it worked beautifully for that, though I’d also happily return with my partner for a romantic break. Our room was right by the pool. The staff had arranged a ground-floor room for my mother, as we requested so she wouldn't need to use the stairs. The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a very spacious, comfortable bed, around 2x2 meters. The air conditioning worked so well we had to turn it down at night because it got too cold. The bathroom was modern, while the furniture and textiles brought in traditional touches. The setting near Mirrin Beach in Goa is peaceful and local without feeling isolated. There was no party or crowd noise, but the beach was just a 5-10 minute walk away. The resort felt intimate and personal, while the beach had a livelier, trendy feel, with casual shacks and stylish beach clubs that look straight out of Instagram. The staff were consistently kind and attentive, and when we asked for things like fresh towels, they took care of them right away. We had a fantastic stay at Papa Jolly Eco Resort and would definitely come back.

We stayed at Papa Jolly Eco Resort for three days. The place is beautiful and peaceful, but the service let us down. Late one night, there was a water supply problem in our room. I told housekeeping, but it took two hours to move us to another room. Then the new room's bathroom flush stopped working, and housekeeping didn't respond to my call for two hours. At checkout, I asked the manager for a discount since we had paid per day but faced so many problems. He said he had my QR and would refund us, and the management did refund our money. Mr. Raj, the manager, is a very nice person who kept his word, and you can count on his cooperation. So, guys, you can consider this resort.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was tasty. Everything was wonderful, and it was sad to leave. We'd love to come back.
