Hotel Always Welcome

The room and bathroom were dirty and badly maintained, and the mattress was in terrible shape and felt unhygienic. The bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable to use. Staff at Hotel Always Welcome were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional throughout our stay. The place fell short of basic cleanliness and hospitality, and management needs to improve both hygiene and customer service. It was a complete waste of money, and I would never recommend staying here.

The stay was just okay, with a few things that need improvement. The room felt a bit expensive for what it was, even though the manager said I had received a discount from agoda. Staff were cooperative: when I raised a room issue, they changed it right away, and they handled small requests smoothly. I also emailed about an early check-in and got a quick reply; they did what they could. The hotel has a restaurant, though breakfast could be better. It’s about 1.5 km from Nakki Lake and the main market, so without your own vehicle or a rented bike, this property is hard to manage. There’s no proper parking space since the parking area is used for rental bikes. Laundry and a lift aren’t available either.

The room was dirty, noisy, and poorly maintained, and it clearly hadn’t been prepared for guests. That was at odds with the claim that the hotel had been newly renovated, which felt misleading. Staff were rude, careless, and unprofessional, and basic items like drinking water bottles and proper napkins weren’t provided. The services we did receive felt irresponsible and made no sense. Poor hygiene, bad service, and the staff’s attitude ruined our stay. This shows serious management neglect and no concern for guest comfort. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously, with an explanation and appropriate compensation for the discomfort and frustration. If it’s ignored, I’ll have to escalate the matter and share my experience publicly on relevant platforms. This was unacceptable, not hospitality.

The person at reception was so accommodating and helped us feel comfortable in an unfamiliar place. Great staff, good value for money, and a great hotel. Highly recommend.
