Hotel Banjara Regalia

Our trip was spoiled by how bad the stay was. We’d booked a room with two double beds a month ahead, but because we arrived during peak time, they switched us to one double bed and one single bed for the same price. The room looked nothing like the photos and seemed like a Rs.500 room, yet we paid Rs.7700 for a day. Service was the worst. The beds and blankets were smelly and dirty, the fan was slow, and the A/C didn’t work at all.

The WhatsApp photos they sent while I was booking showed rooms completely different from what I found at Banjara Hotel. Nothing was clean, including the bed and bathroom. The locker and café listed on the website were also missing.

The online and Google photos don’t match the actual rooms. Ours were filthy, with dirty walls, a dirty bathroom, and cigarette pieces left behind. The owner was rude, arrogant, and didn’t seem to care about guests. We booked two rooms a month in advance, each with a triple bed, one double and one single, and paid an advance. Later the owner called to say the price had increased, and that we’d get more or could cancel. We agreed to pay more. When we arrived, one room had only a double bed. The owner denied we’d booked a triple bed room until I showed the WhatsApp message. He then said it was his mistake but couldn’t do anything, and offered one triple bed room and one double bed room instead. He was rude and wouldn’t listen or reduce the amount, even though the room category had changed. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever visited, a nightmare, probably the worst in the full area. I wouldn’t book it and would give a negative rating if that were possible.

The room was suffocating, with no proper ventilation, dirty bedsheets, broken furniture, and broken door handles. There’s no kitchen and not even tea in the morning. It was the worst experience, and even Rs.500 per night would be too expensive.
