The one thing we missed during our winter stay at Palanpur Palace, Mount Abu was a bonfire. We were told the facilities were available, but one wasn't arranged. It would have made the evenings more enjoyable, and I hope management considers offering one in future. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant, memorable stay. The property has a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, a royal heritage feel, and well kept architecture and grounds. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed. The staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist, and we enjoyed the well prepared food. A calm, royal place to relax, and we'd love to return. Definitely recommended for a heritage stay in Mount Abu.

The palace needs a little renovation, and we didn't eat there, though breakfast was good. Our stay was pleasant. It's a huge, aesthetic property with gardens, balconies, and lots of selfie spots, very close to the main attractions and markets, all within about 1-2 km. Two full days are enough for excursions. This was the palace of Nawab Taley mohammed khan of palanpur, now converted into a hotel. We booked before peak season and were the only guests, so I'd suggest booking in season.

It's in a strategic spot near all the popular places, and the building has a heritage feel. The furniture and AC are really old, but well maintained.

The surrounding views are lovely, and the location is great, though it's far from the core area around nakki lake. The hotel needs major renovation. The rooms don't feel worth the price, and cleanliness is an issue. The place also doesn't have the atmosphere you're looking for. I'd avoid it if you can, it's not worth the money.

The service was awful, and the food was cold. They wouldn't even heat it in the microwave, and staff just said that was all they had to serve. The manager came over, spoke briefly, and left. They served hot cold drinks and said that was what they had too. Towels were dirty, bathroom locks didn't work, there were no floor mats, and the bathroom floor stayed clogged without proper drainage. There was no hot water, and the furniture was very old. The staff were bad, and the food wasn't good. Don't go, it's not worth even a three-star hotel.
