We’d been staying here for five years, and the service and rooms used to be excellent. That wasn’t our experience this time, in Sep 2025. The room was dirty, the blankets didn’t seem properly washed, and there was work going on at reception. At midnight, while we were trying to sleep, staff were clapping and making noise on the balcony without considering the guests. The new man at reception, who seemed to be acting as manager, treated customers badly and didn’t know how to speak to them. The service and rooms seem poor these days.

I was in town for a week of work as an officer at Punjab National Bank. The room was very small, the blankets felt unhygienic, and at times there was no water in the washroom. I found the hotel disappointing. There are better places nearby, so check those out.

The terrace garden right in front of the room was the best part, with lots of lovely plants to sit and enjoy. The location was good too. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the service was good. We had a wonderful stay.

The bathroom was filthy, the toilet leaked, and most of the taps and the shower head were missing their metal filters. There was even a dead bug on the bed. Cleaning at 11 am meant we couldn’t leave the hotel. What kind of place is this? I’d give zero stars if I could.

We found this place while travelling as a family, and getting around was easy. Kala ghoda, Colaba, Marine drive, and Nariman point are all within walking distance, so we didn’t have to get stuck in Mumbai traffic. It’s centrally located for the fancy restaurants and shopping areas too. The rooms are basic but have the essentials. You can order food from nearby restaurants and have it delivered to your room. The staff are courteous and helpful, and the Manager went out of his way to help us with what we needed. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai or running errands around South Mumbai.
