FabHotel Byaris International

We had a wonderful stay here a few months ago, so we booked again for this week and paid a small advance through the travel partner’s app. When we arrived, we found the building shut and in a renovation or demolition state, even though it was still listed as available on apps. The travel partner still hasn’t refunded our advance. Avoid booking here to save yourself time and money.

Cockroaches and bugs turned up repeatedly at the dinner table. When we raised it, staff said the kitchen had recently been cleaned and that was why the pests had come out. It left me wondering if they’d been in the kitchen before and around our food. My other major concern was that the number locks on both my trolley bags had been changed on the same day, just one day before checkout. The staff acted as if they knew nothing, though it seemed some people had contacts who could help fix the problem quickly. Quite the performance. Most trolley bag locks are easy to reset, by the way.

The food and service were really good, and the rooms were decent, though there were a few minor issues. We stayed for two nights. The price per night felt a bit high for this kind of hotel, but it’s still one of the decent options in Andheri East. 3.5/5.

The reception staff were kind to guests, and the food service team were neat and good. I stayed from 27 March to the 30th and had no discomfort. The rooms are compact, which works for solo or two-person business trips when you mainly use them to sleep. The small restaurant has four tables, each with three seats. My main complaint is the old, grilled lift, which can only fit two people. Still, the hospitality was good, and I’d recommend it for a transit or business stay.
