Fabhotel Moonlite Residency

The room works well for a traveler wanting a few days of quiet and rest, and you can order from whichever restaurants you like. The hotel was fairly well maintained, and the staff servicing it were good. I had a pleasant stay and wouldn't mind booking again for a friend or family member. When I first arrived, I had to ask housekeeping to clean the washroom and dust the side tables. A supervisor who made sure the room was ready could have saved a walk-in guest from needing to ask for a quick cleanup.

The mattress seemed at least 10 years old. It had sagged into a body-shaped hollow, so one side sank when you lay down and the other started shaking. You couldn't even sit on the bed. The property was very dirty too, with stained pillow covers and sheets and a blanket full of holes. We were shown five rooms, and they were all in the same state. They still hadn't changed the sheets or pillow covers by the end, so luckily we had our own sheet to use. The photos make the place look good, but the reality is the complete opposite. Please don't ever book this hotel.

The lanes leading in are narrow and congested, with no nearby shop. This place isn't good for families or couples. The receptionist was rude and arrogant, and the room smelled awful. We asked for another, cleaner room, but were told there were no more rooms, even though I'd already seen a clean, vacant one. The walls looked terrible too. I'd booked online for 1911 rps and paid online, but they still wouldn't let us check in until we paid another 523rps, bringing the amount they said was due to 2500. Food we ordered at 6.30pm arrived at 8.30pm. They said the kitchen had opened at 7, but hadn't told us it was closed when we ordered. We were due to check out at 8, and they charged us another 400 rps for a 30-minute delay, even though the food had been late through their service. When we asked for a cold water bottle, the staff refused. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE.

I've traveled enough to know that paying a lot doesn't always get you a good atmosphere or a fresh-smelling room. This lodge was the best for me, and I enjoyed a relaxed stay. It's a budget-friendly place with 24-hour rooms. Meals can be ordered by phone from coconut lagoon restaurant outside the lodge, though they take 45 minutes. Tea and coffee are available at the lodge if you call and relax. One personal thought: when we respect people, they respect us too. Don't argue with the staff, they're working for us.
