Super Dormitory AC DELUXE

I stayed here for 10 days and found the staff supportive and nice to deal with. It’s a cheap, good-value dormitory in sakinaka, with very clean beds and rooms. They change the bedsheets every two days, and the AC is nice and the washroom clean. In my honest opinion, it’s budget friendly in sakinaka.

Muhammad at the front desk is friendly and helpful, and it’s a good price for what you get. The bathrooms and floors are cleaned daily, and the sheets are clean. The place is mostly inhabited by friendly Indians who are always up for a laugh or going to get chai and a meal with someone. It’s near Saki Naka metro station, so getting around the greater Mumbai area is easy.

The price is very low, and there’s very little paperwork. The staff were excellent and behaved really well. Rooms are awesome and well maintained, with one large and one small private locker. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, with exhaust fans, and the Wi-Fi speed was great. Best place to stay in the saki naka area.

I couldn’t sleep because of bed bugs in the upper bunks. They didn’t replace the sheets or pillow covers, and switching beds three times didn’t help. I was in Mumbai for work and had an important day after checking in, so this was awful. When I complained to the assistant manager, he asked, “So what should I do now?” They should clean the beds after every checkout. I couldn’t sleep the whole day. I’d booked seven days through Agoda for around 1400 rupees plus. They first gave me an AC dorm bed, then an hour later claimed I’d booked non-AC. When I asked for a non-AC bed, they said those were only for men. They only switched on the AC at night. They demanded another 700 rupees, but Agoda confirmed I didn’t need to pay anything extra and emailed the dormitory about it. If you booked through Agoda, don’t pay a single extra penny. I asked for a refund and at first the assistant manager refused, offering to arrange another bed instead, which I rejected. Eventually he charged me 300 rupees for a day, though Agoda had charged around 187 rupees. I had a horrible experience with these people.
