Hammock Hostels

The hostel felt peaceful and welcoming, and the mixed dorm was comfortable since everyone staying there was respectful and easy to get along with. Arjun was especially kind and helpful, and made guests feel at home. We also liked the library nook and the open seating by the kitchen, where people could chat or relax. For Bandra/Khar, the rates and facilities were surprisingly good, with comfortable dorms and the things a traveller needs. The whole place felt safe and positive, more like a home than a hostel. We loved our stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone coming to Mumbai.

Right in the middle of Bandra, the location made it easy to get around, and the hostel had a friendly, social mix of international travelers. I spent a couple of days there at the end of February in the female dorm and had a great time. The design is bright and modern, with lots of amenities including a well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were very clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating whenever I needed something.

Getting around was easy from here, with cafes, nightlife, and transport all close by. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well kept after long days exploring Mumbai. Staff were always helpful with local tips, too. I really liked how easy it was to meet other travelers from around the world in the lively common areas. You can hang out, chat, or find people to travel with. A good fit for solo trips or going with friends if you want comfort and a social atmosphere.

Mumbai can feel hectic, but this hostel made my stay feel calm and enjoyable while I was there for work. Arjun helped make the whole visit fun and worthwhile. The terrace breakfast setup was great, and the cleanliness was better than at any other hostel in India where I’ve stayed. One of the best places I’ve been.
