Hilal Dormitory

The lack of airflow made sleeping miserable. The fans by each bed took up space but barely moved any air, even on the highest setting, and the AC ran for only about 15 minutes, sometimes in the evening and sometimes at night. I ended up sweating, and mosquitoes were biting me. Water was another problem if you need to get ready early. They rarely filled the tank, and even when I asked, the man said it would come soon, then went back to sleep. The kitchen and bathroom share a room, so you can smell food cooking from the bathroom. There weren't enough bedsheets, and the ones available weren't clean, with some smelling bad. I wouldn't spend this much time writing about it if it weren't true.

I paid 560 for one night and don't think it was worth it. There are other dormitories nearby in the 300 to 350 price range. The bed was clean, but the bathroom wasn't. Although they call it AC, he turns it off from time to time. Water for the washroom is available only at certain times, so we had to carry it in a bucket. When I asked the staff member about the water, he was rude. There was a wet shoe smell everywhere too. Not a good choice if hygiene matters to you. That's how it was, thanks.

The washrooms were very clean and the place was well kept. If you only need somewhere inexpensive to check in, freshen up, rest for an hour or two, and head out, this is a decent nearby dormitory. It works well as a temporary stop for a wash and a rest instead of booking a hotel room.

They don't deserve even one star. They tell people the rooms are big, but their deluxe room is smaller than my bathroom. There were mosquitoes, lizards, cockroaches, rats, and more.
