Hotel Dadar Residency near Tata Hospital

Although the rooms were decently clean, the building was pretty dirty, and the little elevator barely worked. The hotel was almost impossible to find. The walls were so thin that I could clearly hear people next door talking. Breakfast was poor, with staff going out to buy it elsewhere. Check-in was extremely frustrating too, as staff rudely demanded excessive ID and paperwork.

The best thing here is the central location, about a 10-minute walk from Dadar railway station. It works for a one-day stay if you have business nearby. The hotel has no in-house restaurant, so breakfast is just bread, butter, and tea or coffee. Extra items can be arranged from nearby eateries for a fee. The rooms and washroom are tiny, suitable for two but not a family.

Fabexpress Dadar was well placed for my plans, and the rooms were bigger than at the other hotel I stayed in Byculla. A small side window also gave an outside view. But the reception person was somewhat rude and unwelcoming, and I had to ask four or five times to get a bottle of water. The hotel was difficult to find, and the building felt deserted in the evening since the lower floors are offices. During our three-night stay, the cleaning staff never cleaned the room.

The rooms were tiny, the TVs didn't work, the staff were discourteous, and the food was horrible. In the middle of the night we were told to switch rooms. We argued, and they only changed us the next day. We were asked to leave our luggage behind, and they moved it to another room while we were away. A horrible experience. This hotel doesn't deserve even one star.
