Hotel Universal Garden by OYO Rooms

The complimentary breakfast was just bread and omelet, and it was so oily that I couldn’t eat it. Food is brought in from outside and was bad. The room and washroom were in terrible shape and not cleaned properly; there was hair all over both. They didn’t provide bath soap, shampoo, tea, a kettle, or other basic things. A third class hotel to stay in. Don’t book directly or through a booking site.

There’s no lift or bellboy to bring your luggage downstairs, and going out means passing through security checks with all kinds of strange questions. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms aren’t hygienic, and the walls have cracks. There’s no proper dining, and even the drinking water isn’t potable. The place looks nothing like the uploaded pictures. Worst ever. 🤬🤬🤬

The bathroom smelled pungent all the time and was very unhygienic. The rooms were pathetic and not clean, room service was poor, and the staff were arrogant, stubborn, and very rude. This was the worst hotel in every way. They don’t deserve to be part of Oyo rooms.

I left right from the front desk because the owner was doubling as the reception clerk and was rude and mean. At 10pm, I went to The orchid and paid over Rs 1000 more because it was a much better hotel and I didn’t want to stay here at any cost. The hotel picture is a total Lie: the hotel only occupies the first floor of the massive building shown, and there’s no lift.
