Sampoorna Hotels

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the rest of our stay was awful. My wife and I were at the Hotel from 3rd March to 7th March. On the first night, in a room on the 3rd floor, a bad smell started early in the morning. After we complained, the front desk moved us to the 7th floor. The shower barely dripped, the sink taps were broken, and neither the AC nor the TV worked. We stayed because someone had recommended it for being near a wedding venue, but we regret it, especially since we had paid the full amount. The worst part happened as we were leaving for the airport at 10 in the morning. When we opened the door, there was thick disinfectant smoke, and we couldn’t see or breathe. They told us to stay in the room for a few minutes, but then smoke started coming into it. There was no warning, and we were rushing to the airport. It was a very bad Hotel experience. The manager, Avinash sir, is mean and disrespectful and doesn’t cooperate. This place doesn’t live up to what Mumbai stands for, and it isn’t somewhere to go for a chill, relaxed stay. They also overcharged us and asked for a bribe to get us a room when we wanted one. Please don’t go here.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Good service too 👍😊.

The only thing I liked was the location. The room was poorly maintained, with lots of flies, a noisy exhaust fan, and an AC remote that didn't work. The food quality was below par as well. I was very disappointed with both the service and the room. They also charged more than the MRP. When we spoke to them, they basically said we could do whatever we wanted. That's no way to run a hospitality business. Anyway, I’ll take it further.
