The owner was rude, though the staff tried to help. Rooms are right by reception, with people constantly brushing past, which disturbed guests. The place is dirty and poorly maintained, with spider webs throughout the bathroom and moisture causing mould and fungi on the walls. They only accept cash, no cards. I was asked to pawn my dollars for cash, which I managed to do, but I generally prefer carrying less cash and using an international card. There were no toiletries or doormats either. This shouldn't even be listed as a hotel.

I paid Rs1028 for this place on ibibo. There’s hardly any room to move, since the room is only a little bigger than the bed. It has no windows or openings for ventilation, so it feels suffocating. The sheets didn’t look clean, even though staff said they’d just come from the laundry.

The location is in a prime area and made it convenient to get to the station and airport. But the room and toilets were disappointing, and the pictures are deceptive. There were no pleasantries when we arrived, and my parents weren’t happy with the service. We didn’t get a free airport pickup or drop-off. The bedsheets weren’t changed for four days, and there was no dustbin at first. When one was provided, it had marks from Paan (beetle leaves). I was extremely disappointed.

The room I got at Sharmin Residency, Mumbai was in terrible condition, completely different from the room amenities and condition shown while booking on MMT. I raised it with the hotel reception, but they ignored my concern. Check the room pictures.

We had a booking at Hotel Sharmin some time ago, but had to cancel and find a decent, safe hotel instead. The pictures they posted don’t match reality. The building was the worst I’ve seen, and the rooms looked so bad they made me feel sick. I’d suggest not visiting, but it’s your choice.
