We spent two weeks at the Suba Palace and would definitely stay again. The staff were cheerful and helpful throughout. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety, and there was always hot chai. Mukesh, our room attendant, checked every day whether we needed more amenities. The laundry we sent out came back the same day, and Ibrahim Shaikh also checked that we were happy with everything. We were.

The rooftop views over Mumbai's harbour were amazing, and the service made our visit memorable. From 4-6 PM they served complimentary evening tea and snacks. Munavwar really represents the spirit of Suba Palace and the warmth of the South Mumbai locals. Keep up the excellent service. Namastè

The building is a little faded in places, but the hotel is very well run and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Its location in Colaba is fantastic, and the buffet breakfast was great. I’d highly recommend it for a stay in central Mumbai.

The staff were attentive, and the clean rooms and excellent service sometimes felt like 5 star hotel service. It’s close to Gateway to India and some nice cafes. Highly recommended. I’ll stay here again in the future.

The treatment of Indian guests seemed noticeably worse than the service given to foreign guests, which felt discriminatory. My stay was frustrating from the start: check-in ran late, and the promised upgrade never came. They first put me on a floor being renovated, with dust and drilling all around. When I complained, staff basically told me to check out if I didn't like it. I was eventually moved, but the noise continued, so I changed rooms again. That room had a loud AC that barely worked. I showed the staff, but they didn't offer a real fix. I had to make do for a couple of days. I wouldn't recommend this hotel; it fell short on basic hospitality and professionalism.
