We went in November, 2025, and the food arrived on time, was tasty, and felt home cooked. The rooms were very neat, and the dining area was nice. The owner was cooperative and helpful in guiding people new to Munnar. It’s budget friendly, too. The place is around 20 kms from Munnar town and a bit far from the town, but it’s very peaceful among the mountains, with places to explore nearby. I’d choose this over staying amid the chaos in town and highly recommend it.

We relied on Ansmariya holidays for every meal, and the homemade Kerala food was fresh, authentic, and delicious each time. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well kept. The property sits among acres of plantations, with beautiful views and a peaceful feel. It’s a little off the main road, so having a car is recommended, but the seclusion is part of its charm. There’s also a lovely spot for an evening bonfire. A genuinely warm, nature-filled homestay.

For a quiet break in nature, this is a pleasant homestay in an Idukki village between Anachal and Bison Valley. There’s a lovely garden with swings, and plantations all around. The host was friendly and the homestyle breakfast delicious. The rooms are small but clean, and the bathrooms are okay.
