I paid deluxe room rates, but basic things were missing. There was no dinner or breakfast, even though I was charged a premium. The bathroom had no slippers, which I’d expect in a deluxe room, and the room facilities were very slow and poorly maintained. I found the stay extremely disappointing. Charging deluxe prices without even basic services is unacceptable, and the hotel falls short of minimum hospitality standards. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We stayed with family and enjoyed the clean room, great service, scenic setting, and good breakfast and tea. It’s a little far from Munnar town, and there aren’t nearby hotels. Still, it’s a great place if you want a peaceful Kerala atmosphere.

A calm, quiet area with a river running nearby. The food felt homemade, and the staff were helpful. Very good stay, I recommend it.

There’s no restaurant on site, but breakfast can be arranged for a fee. The property feels more like an apartment with several rooms. There’s a good amount of parking, and I’d recommend it as a budget-friendly option, though rates may change during peak periods. At Kunjithanni, it’s probably 15-20 km from Munnar town, so it’s well away from traffic and has a peaceful, quiet feel for time with family or friends. A short walk down some steps takes you straight to the river. We stayed at Ayursakthi Riverdale for one night, and our room was clean and well maintained, with a really nice balcony view.

There’s no restaurant at the hotel or nearby, and the only meal they provide is breakfast, with very few choices. I was served oily poori bhaji, and after eating it I had loose motions and vomiting.
