Bracknell Forest

We booked two rooms at Bracknell for family and friends, and were lucky to get them next to each other in one cottage. That made things more convenient and private, and the children could easily get to the play area. The rooms were spacious enough for an extra bed. It’s a bit far from Munnar Town, but still worth staying. The resort is comfortable, with an in-house restaurant, though the food needs improvement.

It’s a small property, but the grounds are well maintained and it has the comforts you need. The staff are pleasant and attentive, ready to help. The atmosphere is charming and makes it a nice place to relax.

They made the driver clean his plates after lunch. Who does that? That capped off a frustrating stay. We booked food by 7pm and it came around 8 or 8.30. We ordered six chapathi and got four, asked for butter naan but it came without butter, and ordered two curries but got one. Then at 8.50 they told us to stop the music and camp fire because it wasn’t allowed, so what entertainment is there? The floors in the room were dirty, which was obvious when the kids walked around without socks. We paid 5450 rs, but there were no glasses, water, milk powder, or tea bags in the room. We checked in at 1pm and only got those after asking several times, at 6pm.

The staff were great and helpful, even though there was a language barrier. I wanted somewhere away from city noise, and this place delivered. The room was good and the view was great.
