We stayed for three nights and would recommend the resort. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and some rooms look out over the River, where you can swim even when the water is low. The staff were kind and helpful, and the restaurant served good meals. Breakfast is in the restaurant, while lunch and dinner can be brought to your room or balcony. Ela is close enough to Munnar for a hike to the white cross, about 11km and a 4.5-hour walk.

The location, staff, and food were good, but room 104 really wasn’t worth it. I booked from 19th may to 22nd may, stayed in 104 only the first night, then went to another hotel for the remaining nights. The flooring wasn’t good and the room lights were very dim. If you’re booking here, please avoid rooms 104 and 105.

A tranquil place for anyone wanting nature without TVs, gadgets, or noise. It’s maintained with real respect for nature and your wellbeing. Sathya (manager), Maya, Ram, Suraj, and a few others were all wonderful people. It’s easy to get here from munnar old bus stop. I took a cab/ Auto or even Bike (rental), which worked out well. ❤️

The sound of the waterfall was there throughout our stay, and the location was picture perfect. We had some of the tastiest food at the resort, it was delicious. Thanks Ela ecoland nature retreat.

A lovely place out in nature, with really nice staff. They gave us the contact for Mr. jaison, who was a great guide. He communicated well, took us where we wanted to go, and offered useful ideas for what else to do. We’d happily recommend him.
