Johns Solitude

We were very comfortable at John Solitude, in a peaceful, beautiful setting that suited a family stay. I spent 2 nights and 3 days there. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and people were available around the clock, which helped us feel looked after. Breakfast and dinner were highlights: simple, homely and delicious. We had chicken curry, beef curry, parota, rice and dal, and every dish was really good. Vinod Varghis, the supervisor/manager, was a friendly, excellent host who understood what we needed and arranged a jeep safari. The staff caring for us were warm and helpful too. I'd highly recommend John Solitude for a peaceful, comfortable family stay.

The atmosphere is quiet and calm, and I loved every bit of my 3-night stay at John’s solitude. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. Vinod sir, our host and property manager, deserves special thanks for his great hospitality. Breakfast and dinner were very good too. It felt like pure luxury, and I highly recommend staying here.

Mr. Vinod made the whole visit feel warm and memorable with his hospitality. The property was very well kept, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the food was delicious. We felt well cared for and met with great cooperation, and everything was thoughtfully managed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The stay was the highlight of our amazing time in Munnar. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting and hope to come back.

The stay went wonderfully, with clean rooms, clean water, fresh air, and a well-maintained property. There are books, a reading room, a play room, and rooftop dining tables with views of the mountains. I also loved the plants in bottles on the terrace. Thank you, Vinod, for the great management and hospitality. Keep it up. We plan to return as a family. We were there for a school friends' trip. We thought we'd booked all 7 rooms, but the property has 10, so we apologize to the other families who were staying there for our full-night conversation and the inconvenience it caused.
