The rooms were clean, though the one I stayed in wasn't really that clean. Still, it was okay.

The host was kind and helpful, and M3 homes had a clean, spacious seven-bed room with enough washrooms. There are all the necessary shops nearby.

We spent one night at the Illi Villa, and what a place! Mr &Mrs Mathews were such a sweet and helpful couple. A must visit if you're after a tree home vibe, though it's a cabin among the trees.

There's no privacy, not much of a high-range feel, and no view. It's in Kunchithanni town itself, which isn't proper Munnar, so it only makes sense if all you need is a room there. The rate also feels high for this kind of stay. Not at all what I expected.

The rates were reasonable, and Mr Mathews was a polite, helpful host. The homestay has a kitchen for guests who want to cook, for an additional charge, and a campfire is also available at extra cost. Recommended.
