The riverside setting may look attractive in photos, but our experience at Moselberg Riverside Cottages was very different from the positive impression on Google Maps. The atmosphere felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Some staff seemed to be under the influence of alcohol while on duty, which was concerning and unprofessional. We didn't feel our safety was a priority. There were serious insect problems inside the cottage, making it hard to relax or sleep. Cleanliness and maintenance were poor, and proper pest control and hygiene seemed lacking. The mattress wasn't the proper queen size that was advertised, and it was uncomfortable. Basic amenities didn't meet even minimum expectations. The food was another major disappointment. It tasted very poor and didn't seem fresh or properly prepared, especially for the price. Management and staff behavior felt unprofessional, and service wasn't satisfactory. I strongly suggest they improve safety, staff discipline, cleanliness, pest control, and food quality. Until there are significant improvements, I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable stay in Munnar.

That riverside view is amazing and gives the resort such a peaceful atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay, with delicious, flavorful food and staff who were excellent, friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Highly recommended.

Our family and kids didn't like this property. The atmosphere felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and there were many insects in the cottage, making it hard to relax or sleep. Cleanliness and maintenance were poor, and the management and staff behavior seemed unprofessional.

4/10
The peaceful riverside setting is the one strong point at Moselberg Riverside Cottages, and it's a scenic place if you want to be close to nature. For what they charge, though, the stay doesn't match what's offered and feels overpriced. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, making things uncomfortable. The kitchen was unhygienic, and the food fell short of expectations. Staff seemed lazy and unresponsive, with basic service lacking. Better cleanliness, service, and upkeep could make this place much better.

The room was fantastic, and I loved the river view. The food was good, though a bit overpriced, and there were no shops nearby. A kettle wasn't available either, so I'd suggest buying food and milk before you go.
