OYO 5841 Forest Haven

We woke to fresh air, birdsong, and lovely scenery, and the peaceful green surroundings made it easy to relax and reconnect with nature. The location is beautiful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to fit the setting. Staff were very polite and helpful, making us feel welcome from arrival. The food was delicious, with a good variety, and everything was well maintained. Forest Haven Resort is a serene break from city life. I'd recommend it to families and couples, and will definitely visit again.

The restaurant staff were humble, respectful, and very patient. The rest of the experience left us disappointed. Our room looked old, wasn't maintained well, had stains, and even had flies in the bathroom. There was dirt everywhere, and the room wasn't cleaned or mopped. The hotel staff were rude and kept repeating the same point instead of answering the question. The female reception staff were very unprofessional. There was only one bonfire, and it wasn't available to everyone. Guests had to book in advance, but that requirement wasn't mentioned anywhere. They also played music outside late into the night. I'm not against the music, but after a tiring day we just wanted to sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here and wouldn't come back.

The river flowing behind the hotel was a real advantage, and we spent quality time there. The surroundings were excellent, full of greenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Our room was spacious and could be very good, but it needs a lot of maintenance. There was dirt everywhere, no cleaning or mopping, and room service was bad. The staff need proper training.

There isn't a lift, but the service staff were very supportive and helped us with our luggage and everything else. Our group enjoyed a bonfire, music, and dancing. The place is very nice, with scenery all around and a small canal behind the hotel on private property.
